sb.append("<option value=''>"+ com.emergys.Translator.getString(session.getId(),\"Select-One\")+"</option>");
i get syntax error for this code.But if i remove this backslash the listbox disappears.i want to use double quotes for "select-one". iam using this to display
in a different language.

You need to surround that with quotes too.
