Hi ,

Our requiremnet is to Upload the scanned documents , so does using
apache.commons.fileupload.FileItem will help ??

We are using Oracle as Database and do we need to use BLOB or CLOB Data Type for this field in our Datbase structure ??

Thank you .

I would say so. The FileUpload library is often used for handling file uploads.

I'd go for a BLOB. CLOB stands for Character Large OBject which is meant for large pieces of text. BLOB stands for Binary Large OBject and can handle any file.
