Now I'm getting a little desperate not to mention the frustration. It's been three weeks since I submitted my Part 2 and 3 and I have not received anything that would make me believe that my assignment went through. I sent them like 4 support requests and only received two completely bogus e-mails explaining to me how the new process works, a process that I followed.
I sent my submission to architect-submit_US@oracle.com. The signature in the bogus auto-response e-mail is ww_suncert@oracle.com. I tried to respond to this address but it comes back with delivery failure notification.
What are my options? Are there any other addresses, contact numbers?

Have you tried contacting Oracle at suncert_ww@oracle.com ? I am pasting the FAQ entry from the Oracle certification site below.

Whom do I contact for Sun certification customer service inquiries?

Contact suncert_ww@oracle.com with Sun certification questions.

Also you might want to call the Oracle certification customer service line for your country. The list of phone numbers can be found at the link here.

I will be submitting my part 2 in a couple of days. I plan on using delivery confirmation and read receipt when sending the email so that I know when they receive it and when they read it. Of course unless your email bounced back, it would have been delivered to Oracle/Sun.

I'm seeing generally a 1 month SLA for this process. We have seen (on this forum) some folks who have resent their assignment and got some success. May be you can try that but it will be better to wait for 1 month before doing such things. Yes it is quite bizzare why they dont have a simple auto-reply for the submission process. "Hi if you sent the assignment with this email in the prescribed way, you can expect a result in 4 weeks." would have reduced so many emails.

Honestly, I'd rather not receive from them any responses at all than those completely bogus, erratic e-mails telling me that I should e-mail my assignment to the very same address I did in the first place. Makes me feel like something did go wrong.

Hi, you mailed to the ww_suncert@oracle.com but the correct address is suncert_ww@oracle.com, that's why the error was received

Yaaa, I need I mention that I got the wrong e-mail from the response I got from Oracle? These guys can't even get a simple signature right.

That's how the e-mail was signed:

<person's name>

Sun Certification Support

Oracle Education

ww_suncert@oracle.com

And I'm not sure what others' perception on that is but I have a feeling that Oracle is treating Sun's SCEA legacy certification as the necessary evil, competing with their existing certification map. Poor communication, ubiquitous misspellings may not be a sign of proactively trying to discourage people from taking SCEA but it looks to me like supporting SCEA is a very low priority for Oracle.

Same feeling. I have done part 1 and have requested to part 2 stating the vouchers that I have. I have stressed that my vouchers for part 2 and 3 is going to expire at end of July. But I still haven't get my assignment for more than a week! Right now I only have exactly 1 month for part 2 & 3 but I am working and I cannot spend full time doing my assignment!
