SCJP6 - No Annotations?

Hi there,

I have just finished reading the (very good) book of Katherine Sierra about SCJP6. I wonder why there is no content about annotations?
Are annotations not regarded within SCJP6? Why? I think it is a very important and common used feature...

The annotation language feature is not covered by any of the SCJP 6 exam objectives, so the K&B book doesn't cover it either.
It's a study guide, after all, not an exhaustive guide to everything Java has to offer.
