Thanks Nevin. Currently I am reading thro the Official Spring Source Docs for Spring3.0. This has good amount of info but a it tough to understand for novice learners. I will check Spring In Action as well. Do you mean "Manning Spring in Action" 2nd edition?

Spring Recipes is an excellent book. The 2nd edition covers Spring 3. I have not personally picked up a copy of the 2nd edition yet but basing an opinion on the first I think it will be very good. Spring in Action is also a good book.

Be aware that Spring in Action is about to be published as a new edition. If you are going to buy it at this point, I'd recommend doing it through the MEAP so that you get the latest and greatest.
