Hi,

Can anybody tell me what is the need of java class path setting.Other software runs without any class path setting but it is strange that java can't run without class path setting..Your answer will be appreciated.

Just to be pedantic, there is no such thing as a "class-path" or "class path". The correct name of the environment variable is "classpath".

There are only two hard things in computer science: cache invalidation, naming things, and off-by-one errors
