Hello,

I'm new to web service. Usually I implement small web application using Struts 1 & Tomcat.

Can you give me an example of web service implementation using axis ? I suppose I need client and server for testing !?!

Thanks

Hi!
Have you seen the documentation on the Axis2 web site http://ws.apache.org/axis2/ ?

If you do not insist on Axis, then I suggest having a look at the NetBeans web service tutorials.
If you want to develop web services and deploy them in Tomcat, you can still do that with Metro - just install it in a Tomcat instance and deploy the web service(s).
Instructions here: https://metro.dev.java.net/2.0/
Best wishes!
