Looking for an answer for the same question. As per my search results richfaces 3.3 works with JSF 2.0 but I am getting some problems.

As far as I know, RichFaces will only be fully compatible with JSF 2.0 when version 4.0 comes out. Right now, I believe it's still in alpha state.
For a full JSF 2.0 compatibility, you can try Primefaces. I've used it with no major problems.
