Weird emails from your system

I get emails from your system when I get a response to my posts. But lately the subject and sender look like spam. here's two subjects I got:

Please Contact Mr George For Your Draft $600.000.00

... but the body of the message was the standard reply-email to one of my posts

and the other subject was:

Attention Dear

.. again, the body was a reply to one of my posts.

Is this just Javaranch humor? FYI, I'm using Yahoo mail.

No, I don't think any of our email handlers works that way ... although our humor is sometimes off-beat indeed :-)

It would help investigate what this is all about if you send the raw text of those mails -including full headers- to one of the moderators (my email can be found in my profile page, or any other moderator is fine, too).
