integrating iReport with my JSP Project

Hello to all,

I am using iReport to generate the report in pdf file. I have .jrxml file and .jasper file. But it generates only in prescribed format and I want to generate the report as the columns selected by the user.

Also it generates the report of predefined query on database in it.

Is there any way to generate report dynamically depending on the query & number of columns selected by the user rather than the query and display columns in .jrxml file?

Thanks in advance.

Hello Pandey,

Were you able to find an answer and implement a dynamic report with user selection of columns?

Hello Ram,

I am unable to meet this requirement, as I have no clue how to do this. Then I have created my query by my own, fetched data & used Apache"s FOP to generate pdf.

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
