This week's book giveaway is in the Mac OS forum. We're giving away four copies of a choice of "Take Control of Upgrading to Yosemite" or "Take Control of Automating Your Mac" and have Joe Kissell on-line! See this thread for details.
I've been doing a little developing in the eclipse ide and have written some simple applications which seem to run just fine from within the IDE. Now however I'd like to try building some of theses simple apps., just to see if I can do it, because soon I will be starting a more complex project which will require me to be able to build and install it on a machine other than my development machine. So I was wondering if there are any existing tools/plugins within Eclipse (Galileo) which can automatically create a build file for a web project? Or is there's some documentation somewhere in or out of eclipse which could detail how to manually create a build file for an eclipse dynamic web project? I've already read a lot about how to create a build file so I'm comfortable with that, but nothing I've read so far specifically shows how to do it for an eclipse-created dynamic web project. Are there anythings to specifically look out for (do's and don'ts) that either definitely do or do not need to be done to successfully write an ANT build file for a web app? I would appreciate any help or insight on how to successfully do this. Thanks for the help.

Eclipse builds the project based on the values defined in the project specific/global configurations/preferences.
You can have Ant scripts in Eclipse to build your projects and it works well for most of the projects.
