I am a greenhorn . I made a JSP application in netbeans 6.8 IDE tomcat server and mysql database . well now my application is running inside netbeans . well I want to run it without the netbeans I mean now I am in deployment nor in development . so what to do for that . I installed JDK , tomat as well as mysql in a new computer . so now ? how can I take out my project from inside the netbeans and run like in the deployment environment ?
either you can create a war file using netbeans build facility and upload to your tomcat server using manager console ..other wise you can copy the base context folder which is located in your filesysytem and copy it to to the webapps sub folder in in your tomcat installation directory... and access it by giving url from browser..
