Websphere + JSF using hx: components

After some testing I had decided to use faces for an application I'm building from scratch. I'm using WSAD 5.1.2 as well. Everything works well until I start using the hx: components. I consistently get an "hX_1 is undefined" javascript error message when the page loads. In addition the new functionality doesn't work. I've had this problem for both hx:inputHelperAssist autoTab="true" and hx:commandExRowAction components.

I don't seem to be able to locate the hX_1 object that the generated javascript is looking for. I've been trying to figure this out for three days now and am afraid I'll need to stop using these components and write my own javascript handlers. I'd love to be able to get this to work as when it works it greatly speeds up development.

Anybody else experience this problem?

Thanks Richard

In our project we decided not to use any of the hx:... components.
Mind you if you are going to use them, you will be pretty much tied to WSAD 5.1.2 and migration to other IDE won't be easier at all.
It's all tool's properietory code.

K Varun,

Thanks for the clarification. Although we are okay with using proprietary tags it's probably not a bad idea to think in terms of portability when possible. I't wouldn't be that hard to write the same functionality for that sake.
I agree. Here's the link:
