class not found exception

Hi there!

i have been trying to finish one servlet example from the head first but getting the error and exception while running as

"class not found exception"

i dont know how to keep the class files under WEB-INF/Classes. but i tried it by going through buid path and add class folder option then i gave WEB-INF/Classes
and also
in my workspace i did copy and paste the class file but it's not working.

please help me . I am getting depressed nothing is working out when i try the programs...

I stucking on these basic stuffs for long time...please someone help me to move on ...

Hmm.. C *WEB-INF/Classes* and *WEB-INF/classes* . and are you using eclipse ? do you added servlet-api and jsp-api jars? also please post the error trace.

Hi!

I am using eclipse and since my program is with servlet the simple one i have added servlet-api.jar. if i open my workspace folder i can see the class file of my program but i dont know why my IDE cant pick it up while running.
