Hi Kavitha,
I used this book to study the theory and this simulator to pass practice tests.
Good luck to you)

I have an other question. I'm very new to java but I'm planning to take this certification exam within 3 months is it possible?

It depends on how fast you can learn Java and the objectives in particular.
Also practice is very important so if you don't use Java at work try to write some Java programs during preparation.
I would take as much time as I need and study thoroughly.
When you're ready you will feel confident. That's how I knew I was ready.

Thanks for the above advice,
I'd taken intermidiate level Java course in my school last quater. Thats how i'm familiar with it. I do practice by doing all examples in K&b and then my assignments in Java from school. Whoever takes this exam will they be working with java? or Did you worked as java developer before taking exam?

I am a java programmer in a company that develops software for laboratories and hospitals for 3 years now so I did have experience in java before taking the exam. However preparation is a must. Even experienced programmers will score purely if unprepared. I would say that preparing and taking an exam while you are a student is a good time because you actually have time for preparation.
