Hello, All,
Good Evening .

What is the command to create a copy of an existing database in mysql?
I need to manipulate my code using duplicate of my database.

I tried using mysql dump command to put duplicate copy on my desktop as:

Cd /usr/local/mysql/bin
./mysqldump studentdb > ~/Desktop/studentdb.sql

But unsuccessful.

Help me Professionals.

mysqldump is one such command. Perhaps you should try one of the GUI tools to assist.
