Hi folks,

I passed the part -1 last week.
I have been a silent member of this community, I am very grateful for all the valuable guidance given by the members of this site.

My preparation took a little more than 3 months. I was working on this on and off.
I have 7 yrs working experience in Java. SCEA is the first ever certification I worked on

Regarding my preparation, I read the following books:
1) EJB3 in action.
2) Head first design patterns
3) J2EE design patterns.
4) SCEA study guide - Mark Cade

And some online material. I have some work experience in JSF, JPA which helped me.
I took the sun's practice exams, which I found very useful.

In the exam, I found some questions were repeated from Mark Cade's book and also from the Sun's practice exam.

Overall, it was a great learning experience. Thank you all for your valuable suggestions.
Please let me know if you guys have any questions.
