window.open()

I have an html popup which was working just fine.

When I have moved all the jsps into WEB-INF/views I was unable to get window.open("./popUp.jsp") to work. The calling jsp also resides in the same folder.

Many of the other files in the page I have managed to link by using c:url and c:include. Can I do something similar here.

Page-relative URLs are death in a web application. See the JSP FAQ for forming proper server-relative URLs.

I tried all of that out..

var test = window.open("/WEB-INF/views/popUp.jsp","welcome","width=300,height=200");

I am wondering if my view resolver has something to do with it.
