Hi sudarsan,

WID is an Eclipse based IDE which allows you to create business processes (BPEL-based) and to execute them later on a WebSphere Process Server.

You will have to use WID if you plan on using WebSphere ESB solution in project. It is a massive IDE (like RAD, RSA), which has lot of features that aid in design, development and deployment of ESB mediation modules. It is a another huge project from IBM.
