Hello everbody!

I'm new into webservice, so please be kind with me! ;-)

I would like to build a very simple webservice with tomcat. we do not want to use axis, because it seems to be a bit to powerfull for our needs. As I've read (, I could use the "Java Web Service Development Pack" JWSDP which is included in JDK6.

So my question is, how do I configure tomcat6 for a webservice built on JWSDP?

I'm sure, for most of you, this question might be stupid but I didn't find any how-to concerning my needs!

Thank you very much in advance!
bye mex

My German is slightly rusty, so I did not read the article.
However, you can use the Metro web service stack (which is used, for instance, in GlassFish 2 and 3) in Tomcat.
See this web page:
Scroll down a bit to find instructions how to install in Tomcat.
Best wishes!
