Hi All,

I've just started the preparation for SCDJWS exam with the RMH's book right now studying 4th chapter(Soap).
the theory provided on each topic is definitely great, but it's hard to absorb the theory all in all, therefore i wish to see the SOAP and WSDL in practice?
how do i practice the SOAP & WSDL with java? do i need to first read those topics through which we can create end-points/web-services and deploy on application server?? and then create client requests through SOAP??

You can try some tutorials, for instance those found here:
The RMH book is good, but quite theoretical, so doing some tutorials is a very good idea!
Best wishes!

Believe me, I don't know how many times I have read chapters till WSDL from RMH to grasp the subject!!
First try to implement simple calculator web service and compare the WSDL from the theory. This would really helps you.

Thanks&Regards, Krishna.

I stopped reading from RMH after WSDL and moved to "SOA using Java Web Services" book.

after finishing that, I moved back to RMH and read some more and revised XML,SOAP,WSDL chapters.

"SOA using Java Web Services" book has some good examples. Use Ivan's notes and complete examples If you are in a hurry to study for exam because they are very comprehensive.
