Hi,

I get an error using Eclipse Helios on the following line in my servlet:

DOMConfigurator.configure("log4j.xml");

It complains about "Multiple markers at this line" and goes on to report that:

Syntax error on token(s) misplaced construct(s)
Syntax error on token "log4j.xml", delete this token

According to all I have read on the web, the line of code I am using should work. What have I done wrong?

Thanks.

Make sure you don't have a semi-colon missing, or a bracket not close before this statement.

Thank for the tip. Unfortunately, Eclipse/Helios still makes the same complaint...

Can you post the full method ?

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
