Someone sent me a PM that my profile had a typo in my email address. So I went to fix it.
When I try to change it, it complains that required fields are not filled in.
I haven't typed the username/password into this site in at least a year, I just let the cookie do it.
My understanding is that if I change the email address, I need to enter my current password. but I can leave the new password part, and the confirmation part empty.
That causes the required entry error.
With the wrong value in it, I'm worried that the password reset will go to the email of record, which will never get to me.
The real value is easy to remember, its pfarrell@pfarrell.com
Thanks
Pat
p.s. Is it possible to change the username? I use "fishtoprecords" on zillions of sites as an alias, and used that when I first signed up. Then I got the usual bartender message about real names, so I changed it. But its confusing, as all my posts show "Pat Farrell" yet I'm supposed to login using the handle.

Thanks.
BTW, is this the proper place to look for help about the site itself? I looked through the faq and outer pages, and didn't see any obvious place to put it.
