Struts Vs Other Frameworks

There are a couple of frameworks out there today especially Tapestry which boasts of simplicity as well as less codes to perform a given operation compared to other frameworks. In addition Tapestry, though built on a stateless servlet uses or operates on stateful beans at the background, What in your opinion is the future of struts viz a viz these other competing frameworks.

Certainly, Struts will evolve but just like Mark Twain and COBOL, I think any reports of the death Struts is greatly exaggerated. Struts was one of the first web-based MVC frameworks on the scene and thus enjoys a fairly large installed based. It's been around too long and it's in too many production systems for it to just die when some newer and better framework comes along. That said, I welcome the options that the newer frameworks open up for developers.
