Not sure. But if I (we) had to guess, it may have been related to the transition to JForum. It could be related to an internal stress test. It may be related to bots trying to figure out the new forum. Or it could just have been a bug that hadn't been worked out yet.

Regardless, it is probably safe to say that the reported data isn't very useful.
