UDDI registry

I i don't use webservice orchestration(calling one webservice from other webservice), then UDDI registry registration is not necessary. Is it correct ? (just consuming single webservie operation)

If we mean the same thing by "webservice orchestration" -BPEL and similar approaches- then UDDI isn't required for those, either.

Actually, UDDI isn't used much for anything at all. The purpose for which it was built primarily -enabling a public market for web services- never materialized, making UDDI somewhat pointless. It is used internally in some large organizations, though.

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
