CLASSPATH setting problem

This is the format i set CLASSPATH=".;C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Desktop\basic_world;" ...........wen i run the program ...i get warnings....on CLASSPATH ...please guide me...i'm new to java....and programming too



warning: [path] bad path element "CLASSPATH=".": no such file or directory

Sorry, I don't know this editor. Where did you set the CLASSPATH ?

Environment variables>User variables for admin.

I'd like to see a picture of the screen where you set the CLASSPATH. Can you make a screen copy and attach the image file here ?

Why are you trying to set the classpath as an environment variable in the first place? You are better off setting it with each application with the -cp flag. More details here.
