tomcat 7 eclipse support

can anyone tell me how to add tomcat 7 support for eclipse i already downloaded wtp 3.1.2

I recommend that you download the "Eclipse for Java EE Developers" package from the Eclipse download site - that has everything you need to add Tomcat support to Eclipse. Then to add a Tomcat server, choose New | Other | Server and choose your version of Tomcat form the list.

Tomcat 7 is very new as far as I know, so maybe Eclipse doesn't support it yet.

Out of curiosity, I check Eclipse 3.6 (Helios) and" Tomcat v7.0 Server" is one of the server selections.

my previous version was galileo. i just upgraded to the latest version after your post thanks. although it was a pain to download another version and my previous plugins.
