Can you please provide more details, so as whether PPT is your context root, or any servlet. If, PPT is your context root, can you check your server log whether the application is deployed or not..

404 may be the resource its not found...

Check the servlet mapping.

my issue is fix it was not able to find location.xml path which later I mapped in hibernate.cfg.xml and now the code is working..
