Today the role of "they" will be played by me.

My response to your question is "why not?"

I was gonna say because donkeys and elephants are already symbols of other groups.

Because the "Big Platypus Saloon" just sounds ridiculous.

Ranch - Farm consisting of a large tract of land along with facilities needed to raise livestock (especially cattle) - Wordweb reference

Cattle - Generally cow . Option 1. but also includes sheep, goat etc.

but as the cow boys use horses it can also be an option.

This what I extract from the JR theme.

but as Paul always mentions , he is tyrant ,evil blah blah of JR so he can keep whatever he wants.

Yes... but mounting a cow, sheep, goat, or even a horse head just isn't done. Or at least, I have never seen one.

At the end of the day, when all the cowboys and ranch hands have finished poking cows, and branding and whatnot, they dust off and head to the Big Moose Saloon to discuss the matters of the day and maybe get a shot of whiskey

Oh, BTW, the moon moose is awesome!

In the Old West (U.S. history, of course), a Saloon is a bar. This is where cowboys, miners, ranch hands, etc. hang out after a long day's work. Have you ever wondered why the moderators had the title "bartender"?
