Hi,
I have left my previous employer in the 3rd week of February this year. Now i am in the new organization which gave me Form 16 only for the period (last week of February and March 2010). Can i ask Form 16 from the previous employer to file the IT returns now. What can i do at this point where i need to file the IT returns.
Please advice.
Thanks,
Sanjay

For those that did not understand the context - Form 16 is a document that is used to declare the tax details for an employee for a given financial year.

Yes, you can. From what I remember, the income tax filing form has a section which says "Income from Previous Employer". That's where you fill in the details of your previous employment along with the Form 16 from your previous employer.
