Few days back, I have gone through the interview process for [Company], Bangalore and got failed. The only point that is killing me, I could not understand WHY I failed? Even after second round of interview, I was under illusion that at least, there should be third round of interview. But finally got a mail stating that "Skill does not matches with the requirement".
Myself have gone through two rounds of interview, including assignment and Technical discussion. [Company] kicks me out after second round.
I want to know from the community that "What skill set person should have to crack, my Dream company like [Company]" . Is it something like, they need people from very good institute like IITS and others. Do they expect that all the candidate should have at least contributed to Open Source? Are they looking at the person, having lot of innovative ideas? Or the candidate should be exceptionally good in all repsect including technical, archtitectural and communication.
I must highlight that it depends on the Interviewer also, How he/she takes the interview. As per me, taking an interview is also an art and all the person having good experience, good technical knowledge, does not have that. . Interviewer should be able to extract/judge the best of the Interviewee.

It happens. And unless you have a friend who is involved in the process, it is unlikely that you will ever know any more details. Just move on, and try to learn something from it.
I have been interviewed twice by a company known for [HINT DELETED], they rejected me twice too (last kick was in this month).
What I want to say is just don't follow the big names, working for big boys might not be as you imagined, it may not be your "Dream Job".
After Second round, HR asked me "How was the interview"? I said "So far look positive to me". HR also confirmed that, the other person who is not in office today, will start the next process on Monday.

Rohit,
Are you talking about another opportunity? Or are you further describing the original post?
It looks more like a new opportunity, so congrats.
