unable to view index.html pahe in webapps folder

Hi
My tomcat is up and running. but i am not able to see any other file other that tomcat home page. I placed some of my html pages in the directory but i cant view it.

You have to make a directory in webapps. This directory should contain your web application, and its name will become the name of your application context. For example : webapps/myapp/index.html. Then, you can access it via http://localhost:8080/myapp/index.html (assuming the post is 8080)
