Barcode reading using a blue tooth scanner

Following is my sample code snippet to read bar code from blue tooth scanner in my android application.

However I am getting an abrupt behavior as follows
1. When I read a bar code, the read method on input stream is executed thrice means I am getting the same bar code thrice.
2. Any subsequent read of a new bar code does not return the new value, rather it's returning the bar code which was read first and that also three times.

As a note my environment is as follows
1. Android os version 1.5
2. backport-android-bluetooth2 is the blue tooth library
3. Baracoda pencil2 is the blue tooth scanner.

Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

I agree. Here's the link:
