I have to submit a web application project for my final semester...it must be in JSP & Servlets

can anyone suggest me some interesting topics for web application

i am merely a student with no development experience but yes i have knowledge of OOP, Core Java, JSP & Servlets

Thanks Hebert for your suggesion....I am thinking of something different like a misic site in jsp & servlet...that will play online songs.....or something like a matrimonial site

will it be possible to do that...and please suggest me the database that i will use in backed....since its just a project i will like to go with a light weighted database....please suggest a more

How about a online bug tracking tool or something, or if you are in college or something something related to a students database, like maintaining scores, registration number, attendance and other stuff.
About your light weight DB, how about MySQL.
