I need to validate certain fields in a JSP page that are NOT part of the form-bean embedded in the JSP page.

I.e., Apart from validating fields that are present in the form-bean embedded in a JSP, I need to validate other fields that are part of JSP (and also part of some other normal bean) and NOT part of form-bean.

How can I do that? Please let me know how this can be accomplished

Help is Appreciated!
