Tools for autogenerate of UML Sequence Diagram

Does anyone know any open source tool that can auto-generate UML sequence diagrams?

So far I have tried the ff:

1. JSonde
2. Jtracert
3. Call Tracer
4. MaintainJ

They all failed. The reason? all of them run in JDK/JRE versions 1.5 or higher. Doesn't run in 1.4 and below.

Can anyone suggest me one that works in JDK/JRE 1.4 and below?. Any form of help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
kri shan

Try Rational Software Architect trial version (not open source)

Try running those through a 1.5 => 1.4 byte code converter.

JDK 1.4 has passed End of Life and is no longer supported by Oracle/Sun. Even 1.5 is pretty long in the tooth now. You should seriously consider migrating to 1.6.

I prefer Jude to draw the UML.
But so far as I know, we could only use it to draw the UML, but could not generate the Sequence-diagram from the code.

MaintainJ does support JDK 1.4 since its first release in 2007. Any details on what failed?
