Hi All,

I have the below Question from HFSJ Book Chapter 7

Q: Given <%@ page isELIgnored="true" %> What is the Effect?

I assume the anser would be
A: The JSP containing this directive should NOT have any Expression Language code evaluated by the JSP Container.

But the Answer given correct is teh below
A: Thsi page directive will only turn off EL evaluation if the DD declares a <el-ignored>true</el-ignored> element with a URL pattern that includes this JSP

Can anybody have an idea why is this?

Thanks
Srinivas
