Hi all,

am very new to Spring, and in my project our lead has decided to use spring mvc for forms.
I have written one simple form login , by extending simple form controller but ends up with an exception

am using eclipse galileo,tomcat 5.5 with spring 2.5

please help me how to resolve this?

Did you put Spring's jars in your classpath ? (in WEB-INF/lib)

How did you start Tomcat ?

the server starts when I run the the specific jsp ( run on server).

I was expecting this answer This is probably where your problem comes from. You are executing the web application from Eclipse, right ? You probably have to configure the plugin you are using to launch Tomcat, to tell him where your JARs are located.

Thanks, I configured the plugin tomcat in eclipse,when I open brouser with

tomcat homepage was appearing .
but when I try for some project it displays the error as
