What don't you understand?

JFreeChart: Charting library.
iReport: GUI for JasperReports.
JasperReports: Reporting tool.
iText: PDF library, JasperReports dependency.

What else do you want to know?

What is a .jar, what is a program, what is a company? Got it?

Not really. None of them are companies; I'm not even sure how that got into the conversation.

First of all, all Java programs are .jars. If you mean which is a standalone application, iReport, which should be obvious from looking at its home page. The rest are libraries.

so, first of all, thanks a lot for helping, however I am have doubts yet cause I tried and I got to create my first report by iReport, that's working very well but I don't undertand the relashionship iReport that's a MSI (Microsoft Installer) that's running on my Windows XP between JasperReports... JasperReports sounds for me like a company that have created that iReport..

JasperReports is a reporting package. iReport is a GUI for creating JasperReports reports. JasperReports is a project of Jaspersoft, as indicated by the copyright footer on the JR home page. iReport is *also* a product of Jaspersoft.

I don't know what else to tell you or why you don't believe me.
