This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
1. I am new to JME and need to submit a document about the avaiable tools or frameworks (including open source) which aid in JME project developments. Request you experts to point me to some of these tools/frameworks. I am aware of the IDEs available.
2. I also need to find out if our team can create some kind of tool (may be code generation or something wihtout involving much effort) which would help the JME developers in some way. Can you guys think about some tooling support that we can create and which is not already there which will make lives easier. Thanks for all your support.
Sun's JME SDK includes an IDE, and there's also an IDE from RIM for Blackberry. Plus, the major Java IDEs (NetBeans, Eclipse, IntelliJ) are bound to have JME plugins or capabilities, which you'll find described on their respective web sites.

Great thanks. These are the IDEs that you talked about. Is there any framework or tool available to ease development of JME applications. Just as we do have Struts as a UI framework for J2EE development. Is there anything that is available ? Also is there any tool that we can build to ease developer's burden ? Any expert advice is well appreciated. Thanks again.
I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
