Secure session Data

Hi,
I am calling response.sendRedirect(response.encodeRedirectURL(redirectString)) in my Action class, the action is called again
But since the session now is secure ,I dont have the data from the previous session to use in this action.
Is there any way in which I can store the previous values from session and pass it on to the secure session as I need them in my action and jsp.

Thanks in Advance

One way you could do this would be to read the parameters passed in, and then attach them as parameters to the outgoing query string in the format ?parm1=value1&parm2=value2 ... etc.

Thanks Merrill for the reply,
but could you explain it in detail.
I can pass the values as you have mentioned but how do I retrieve those values in my jsp.
For ex. If I have a VO in the session ,I add it as param1 = VO
but how do i get it in my jsp.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
