wsconsume vs. axis 2 stubs

For our current project under
4.2 I used wsconsume to import WSDL and generate stubs since the stack we are using is JAX-WS native and that is the tool recommended.
I had to make minor changes to the WSDL (I believe it was created by AXIS 2). I read a psot somewhere that said this can be the case (where WSDL may not be compatible for the wsconsume tool)
I’m not sure if AXIS 2 stubs are compatible with JAX-WS in Jboss. Could I have used AXIS 2 stubs for a JAX-WS Web Service?
We are using Jboss Seam, BTW, if that makes a difference.
It is sorta covered in the
JavaRanch Style Guide
subject: wsconsume vs. axis 2 stubs
Apache Axis versus JbossWS
Web Services jargon
Top-Down approach: WSDL, JAX-WS and JAXB
wsconsume error: operation does not have a SOAP fault extension
Jboss 4.2.2, Jax-Ws and client java stub gen?
