Question about the new JSP and Servlet certification

Hello guys
I recently became SCJP certified and I am wondering what to do next. I was thinking about studying for the SCWCD certification, however with the announcement of the new certifications, including the JSP and Servlet Developer certification in Oracle's website I'm not sure whether to study using SCWCD books or wait a little longer for a possible release of books for the new certification.
Basically, for those of you who have seen the new objectives of the exam, or even better, done the beta test, how different are these 2 exams? Can I study for SCWCD and be prepared for the new JSP/Servlet certification? Also, how long does it usually take for a certification to be available after it's beta release?
Thanks!

I have just returned from attempting the beta exam...it's very different, 70% of the 105 questions were on the new features (annotations, web fragments, asynchronous model, etc), having taken the previous version twice I can safely say they bear little resemblence to each other.

Hi Will,
on the Oracle site says something about the beta exam Duration: 3-5 hours and Number of Questions: 215.
You said you had 105 questions. How much time did you had ?
Are there any books regarding the new features from Java EE 6 ?
Thanks,
Liviu

I had 105 questions and 3 hours to do them in. I went in totally blind as it was only £30 and I didn't have time to do much reading around the new features (yes I know it's a bit stupid!). I don't think there's a book available but you should be able to find something on Oracle's website - as I mentioned annotations, web fragments, and the asynchronous model made up most of the exam.

Hi,
Ok, 105 questions for three hours is reasonable. And since is Java EE 6 beta, I think is normal to test more from this new features.
Couldn't you schedule your exam a bit later ?
Thank you very much for your informations,
Liviu

Here. If it asks you to select a country, select one, and go back to that same url again.
