Weblogic transaction statistics

We use 2 routes to viewing transaction statistics for our JMS resources on the weblogic admin console.

domain->services->messaging->JMS servers-><JMS server name>->[Minitoring tab]->[Active Transactions]

domain->Diagnostics->context-><server name>->[Monitoring tab]->[JTA]->[Transactions]

Can someone explain the difference between the 2 options .
And ,what should be preferred in whci particular case.
