[Velocity] HashMap<String, ArrayList<String>

Hello everyone,

in java it is possible to create a HashMap<String, ArrayList<String> like this (pseudo code, not tested):

List<SomeBean> beanlist = getBeanlistFromSomewhere();
HashMap<String, ArrayList<String> hashmap = new HashMap<String, ArrayList<String>>();

for(SomeBean dataset : beanlist)
{
 if(!hashmap.containskey(dataset.getParameter())
  hashmap.put(dataset.getParameter(), new ArrayList<String>>());

 hashmap.get(dataset.getParameter()).add(dataset.getValue());
}

Is it possible to do the same in a velocity template?

I found some sites regarding to this
