Hi,

I have application which uses apache poi 3.6 version to read an excel file. Just had a query if poi require any of the office component on server.

Currently i have tested the build on development machine which is windows and which already has Microsoft Office. I need to make sure that same thing works on unix platform without office component. As i don't have unix server i am not able to test it.

Can anybody tell me about it.

Thanks !!

No, POI is independent of any other software.
