I submitted my code and took my essay exam in March 2010. I did not hear anything back for a month. After countless emails to who2contact, I finally got my certificate at the end of July 2010. I spent $600 (300 on assignment, 300 on essay test) and still had to wait 4 months? It is ridiculous! I am done with Sun Certification!

Anh : Congratulations . A question - when you started working
on the SCJD, what promises did Sun make about the processing time for
your assignment? Did they say it would be a week, a month? Just curious.

They did not promise anything. I know it would take 1+ month from reading posts here at the Ranch. I didn't expect they totally ignore me for months. With all of their brain power, one would have thought they create a web page showing exam status for each customer.
