[SCWCD] class that control Threads in Servlet

Hi!

I'm with this doubt, about when the thread is instanciated and started...
I'm using the tomcat container, but I can't see when this happens.

Do you know which class or classes control these process?

Hi Paulo,

Welcome to javaranch!

For every request a separate thread is created, why do you want to know which class controls this? This is something container specific and not part of the SCWCD exam.

I already knew that the Container creates a Thread by requisition, but i like know how this process works.
I think that this info will help me in future problems with safety and synchronization.

No its not, its given in the Spec that a new thread will be created to handle each request. What Frits is saying is the spec doesn't say which class will create a thread to handle the request, the container can have its own classes for that...
