Hi,
I am fresher. I got two offers. One is from very good company A (Product based) for contract postion of 1 year. Based upon performance i may get permanent postion in that company.
In second company B (Service based) permanent postion. But salary is 50k less than first one.
But company A has good brand name than company B.
Both company offers are for bangalore location. Which one i can choose? Please suggest.

it is too general to choose from. For eg if company A = [large company] , company B is some start up with 4 employees, i would say go for Company A. But if they are not far apart, i would say stick with the job rather than contract. 50k per year difference is also scale less. I mean
Company A - 8.5 lakhs
Company B - 8 lakhs
then iwould say company B is better.

bbut company A - 1 lakh
Company B - 50000
I would say obviously company A.

All said and done, i feel fresher salary at least in india is not something which you should rely on. Fresher jobs for the first 3-4 years are for experience and resume building. Salary comes into the picture once you settle and have a family. So if you can support yourself with both the salaries, go ahead with the safer job. At least you would be having a good resume for future jobs to apply, rather than going for job A and then having nothing after a year.

These types of decisions are always hard. The following link may assist.
